Missing fields when opening reports

I recently moved my data directory and now Version 8.1 reports that have worked for a long time do not work. When I try to open them up, they report that several fields are no longer in the database. As a test, I created a blank report using this table and all of the fields were available. What would be causing this problem, as I have many other reports that have had their data directories moved with no problem? Some of these reports are very large and it would be very time consuming to recreate them from scratch.____Thanks.__

Are these single file reports?__Is there only one copy of the data file available?____Kathleen__R&R Support

These reports have several lookup and/or scan tables that are linked as relations. There is a backup copy of the data files on a local drive, but only one copy on the network (all data files are in the same directory).__
