RR 9 versus Impact Printer
RR 9 versus Impact Printer
I work with RR 9. __Some clients of mine only have impact printers (like Epson LX-300). __In this type of printers, reports generated on RR9 are printed in graphic mode and dispends a lot of time and ink to be printed.__I´v tried to export this reports to text mode but the headers doesnt be ok.____What can I do to solve this problem?__Thanx

You need to select a printer native font rather than a true type font.__If you select a field and then Format Font you will see a symbol in front of the font name that will tell you if it is a TT true type or a printer native font with a printer symbol.____Kathleen__R&R Support

But the real problem is that I want to print in both of printers (impact and inkjet) with only one report --> can I change some report properties, like type printer and fonts, in execution time, or the only way is designing 2 reports (one in draft native impact printer font and the other in arial)?____Thanxs__André.

you got it - you need 2 reports - one for each font setup.__no realtime way to set printer properties...____nick__
