Cannot match printer or port...

A customer reports that they started getting the error message "Cannot match printer or port in control file" on one of their machines yesterday and can no longer view any reports. They insist they have changed nothing on the machine, and that the error __"just started happening". Any known causes for this, or things we should look for to fix the problem?__Dave Keenleyside
