"Unsupported" msg on TestTrackPro

Post by deanq » Wed Feb 18, 2004 11:08 am

I^m trying to connect to a TestTrackPro database (codebase driver from Seapine) and getting an "Unsupported" message from the driver after selecting a table. I think at this point R&R should just be issuing the "select * from tablename" to get the column list, but there may be something else going on. I can^t do a user-SQL with the "select * either. I can however read the tables fine with MS Access through the same driver, so it^s connecting ok to the back end, it would seem. Any ideas? I^d hate to have to build an Access db linking all the tables and then report on that - bit of a kludge. Thanks

=> Unsupported?

Try adding UseQEConnect=1 to the Database section of RSW.INI and see if that helps. You will likely need to add the section name as well since Database is not one of the usual defaults.____Regards,__Kathleen__R&R Support

I ashamed at not having thought of that myself - but no luck, anyway, same result. Thanks Kathleen.

See what happen when you walk away from doing this stuff full time!____The setting may not work but it is at least worth a try.____Kathleen__R&R Support__
