Indented BOM

Has anyone tried to use R&R to create an indented bill of material report with extended quantities? By this I mean a report which explodes the quantities in a multiple level bill of material structure where a parent has multiple child records, each of which can in turn have multiple child records and so on. Using Version 8.0, I have tried setting up mulitple scans on the same table using aliases with the second scan refering back to the table related in the first scan, i.e. a separate table alias for each "level" in the bill of material. R&R seems to have a problem keeping track of which table alias is being scanned.
