Determine last record on page?

Post by Owen_Graupman_(Guest) » Thu Apr 22, 2004 7:05 pm

Hi there,____Is there a way to determine if the current record band line is the last record line to print on a given page? I^m having a problem with a multi-pass report (union sql query). I need to print a border around the entire set of record lines (not between each line). Unfortunatly, I can^t use page header/group header to page footer, because the border then runs through the second set of records (those from the second set of query results). I^ve tried putting a line in the page footer, setting its conditional property to only print when records are from the first query, but this leaves a gap between the vertical lines on the record bands and the line on the footer band.____Any suggestions?

If your groups never extend across a page you could start the box in the group header and finish it in the group footer.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Unfortunatly, they quite frequently cross pages. :(
