Converting from XBase to SQL

Post by P._Luichinger_(Guest) » Fri Apr 30, 2004 12:13 pm

My company currently uses an old DOS version of R&R built on XBase. We are getting ready to upgrade to R&R SQL version, since our core software is moving to an RDB/SQL/web-based system. While trying to build some test reports, he asked why he could not select an "index" for his report. Can you select an "index" in the SQL version, or is that strictly a function of the XBase version?____Also, some of our old reports are "interactive", in which the user running the report can actually manipulate the query before running the report. Is there something similar for the SQL version of 10+?

You cannot explicitly select an index in SQL.__You can revise the query at runtime using R&R SQL Version 10+.____Kathleen__R&R Support
