I^m using R&R ver 10 and Pervasive ODBC on a Btrieve table and when I try to do a join, I get the ^Related Table^ screen but it doesn^t show the ^Data Source^ button.__

You will only see a Datasource button if the file RSWSQL.INI contains an entry stating:__JoinAcrossDir=1__in the appropriate section of the the file that points to the database platform you are using.____Kathleen__R&R Support

This was already set up but I noticed that it had spaces before and after the ^=^ sign. Removing the spaces fixed the problem on an NT PC but doesn^t correct the problem on a Windows2000 PC. Any other ideas?

In the "Readme.rtf" Release Notes for September 09 2003 Update Version 10.1.003, I found a passage under the sub heading "SQL Server7/2000" which stated "1. Auto SQL reports are limited to selecting tables from the current login database.__2. If you need to join tables across databases, you can create a User SQL report or can within you database build a View table that references tables from a different database."____Would this be the cause for the issues I have with the joins??__
