No Printer Fonts Available

I apologize off the top, I am not a tech, but I am hoping someone can help. ____We have a financial application that uses R&R 6.5.08 for xbase. A client recently purchased a new Canon printer/scanner (model IR5020, PCL5e) and now consistently get "No printer Fonts Available". We have run into this in the past and re-installing the printer driver has always worked, but not this time.____The environment is...printer is running of a Novell print server, running Windows 2003. Work stations are various, some XP, some 2000 and a couple of 95.____Any suggestions of where I need to look? ____Thanks in advance.

6.5.08 is an old 16 bit version of R&R so the time has likely come to upgrade to the latest release.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Our application is an old 16-bit application. We have just short of 100 installations, many of which are using the latest and greatest in o/s and networks. ____Since writing my first note the client has tried installing the printer locally it works fine. As soon as the printer is networked, the error returns.

How long is the printer name? Try a shorter name and see if it helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support
