ODBC dbase driver error

I use R & R ver 9.0.007 SQL and extract data from a dos database (dbf IV). I am upgrading my database to SQL version which uses Borland Interbase software (I use Windows 2003 server OS)____Once the Borland software was installed, the R & R program quit operating and gave an error message:____DB access: (Microsoft)(ODBC dBase driver)Unexpected error__from external databasedriver (8961)____any suggestions?____Thank You, Paul______

Kathleen,__Thank you for your response.____I don^t believe I am.__How would I determine if I was?____I configured the dBase driver to report on .dbf(IV) files.____What is the correct configuration for R&R 9.0 SQL in the ODBC Data Source Administrator and the BDE Administrator?____Regards,____Paul______

Kathleen,__I renamed the common filesorland shared folder, and __the program is working again. Does this imply the Borland__software is configured incorrectly or my program will not__be compatible with my SQL server. Which do you think?____Regards.____Paul
