printer properties

We are using R & R 9. There are four reports that Quick Runtime Shortcuts were created for. One of these reports is set to ask whether you want to Print, View, or Export the report. When I click on Print the default printer dialog box appears, which is what I want. When I click on Properties the printer is set to 8 1/2 x 14 inches. I want it to print at 8 1/2 x 11 inches, so I change it to 8 1/2 x 11. The report will then print fine. However, I was hoping that the 8 1/2 x 11 printer settings would be saved for the next time I run the report. (they are not) I have even went to the printer settings from Start/Settings/Printers and Faxes to make sure the default settings are 8 1/2 x 11 inches. (which they are)____What can I do to make this report print at 8 1/2 x 11 without having to go into the printer properties every time the report is ran? I have read some posts that talk about a report writer control file, but I don^t know anything about that.____Thanks a lot,____malaize

R&R stores the page size in the report file itself so you would need to open and save the report with the desired page size to avoid needing to set it each time.____Kathleen__R&R Support
