Email Bursting

Hello, I^m trying to create a form email with R&R 11 using its email burst option. The report is exported to HTML format... is there any way to send it as the BODY of the email as opposed to sending it as an attachment? I see the option to send a field as the body of the message, but this is much more than 1 field.

If your default email format is HTML then an HTML attachment should in theory be embedded rather than attached. But it would depend on your mail client configuration.____Kathleen__R&R Support

I^m using Outlook and don^t see any options that may affect messages created from external programs... can you offer any suggestions for the proper configuration of Outlook? ____How does R&R communicate with Outlook? OLE? Any info you can offer would be a huge help... thanks!!____Michael

Thanks for the quick reply, however, Outlook is already set to send in HTML. Is this possibly a glitch with R&R? I have latest release (11.0.006)...____Thanks

That is how I have Outlook configured and my HTML exports from 11.0.006 show up as the message body rather than as an attached file.____Kathleen__R&R Support__

I^ve tried Outlook 2000, 2002, AND 2003, all with the same results. However, it did correctly work with Outlook Express, but all of the workstations use (and need) full-blown Outlook. Any other suggestions? I had an HTML tag embedded as a text line, but I took that out and the problem still persists.____Do you have the preview pane active in your copy of Outlook, or are you actually opening the message to look at it? What I^m looking at is an empty preview pane that shows an attachment. Once I actually open the email, or open the attachment, I can see it ok. Again, if I have Outlook Express as my default email client it works successfully (I^m able to preview the message). Help!! :) Thanks!
