Error While Merging Data

Post by DaveB_(Guest) » Fri Sep 23, 2005 4:59 pm

I am able to recreate an error that one of our customers is having. After entering the input parameter for a report, the report goes through the process of sorting the records (a total of (921,210) and begins the merging process. At the end of the merging process, the folllowing error occurs: The insruction at "0x00416010" referenced memory at "0xffffffff". The memory could not be "written".__It then closes completely out and I need to restart R&R. I was able to reproduce the error on Version 9 and on 10.1.003. I am running Windows XP SP2.__One thing to note is that the report runs OK when running prior months data, which has fewer records to sort through.__Let me know if you need more info. Thanks!__

It is likely some manner of bug. Is it the Xbase or the SQL version?__Short of saying, modify something about the report to see if it helps, I am not sure that I can make any good suggestions without having the actual data to test.______Kathleen__R&R Support
