Error opening report dictionay file

When someone opens R&R Version 10 they get an error open Report Dictionay File^. Our application uses .CDX as it^s Index files. Nothing has been done to alter any Data Dictionaries from the default settings.____Can you think what may be causing this and how to to fix it?____Thanks.______Eddie Marshall

It is Version 10 and it is a network install.

R&R is trying to open the dictionary tables that it expects to find in the RL subdirectory. So it either cannot find the files or does not have permission to open them.__You can try launching the report designer from the Report Librarian (RLRL.EXE) default user name ADMIN with no password and see if that is any different.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hi Kathleen,____Eddie has passed this issue over to me. We tried as you suggessted and R&R opened with no problems going through the Report Librarian. Is there something I need to do with the shortcut on the users desktop?____Regards____Chris

Try making the start in directory the RL subdirectory and see if that helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support
