Error reading Blank PDF output

I^m creating a PDF output file using a text control file. The following is a portion of the text.____RI_PRINTER=__RI_WPTR=R&R PDF Export__RI_OUTFILE=D:ReportsDEPINCON_ATL.PDF__RI_STATUS=T____The problem is when the report executes and returns no records. The output file is created and when it^s accesssed from Adobe the following error is displayed: ^Acrobat could not open the DEPINCON_ATL.PDF because it is either not supported file type or because the file has been corrupted^.____My question is that if a PDF file is blank (or produces no records) is there a way to not allow the output file to be created.____Would appreciate any help.____Thanks.
