Error when creating PDF

I sent out all the appropriate files to print out a pdf file from within a program. I am using Version 9.0.005 and the files sent out to go along with all the other files are:__PDFINTF.DLL, CDINTF.DLL, ACFPDF.DRV____All my reports are in a control file, RRWRUNIN.DBF In the control file I set the controls to:__RI_PRINTER = " "__RI_OUTFILE = <Variable Name> __RI_WPTR = "R&R pdf Export"____All reports run fine, but when they try to run a file to create a pdf, they receive the following error:____Cannot match printer or port in control file.____then he gets a box that the report writer has caused an error and will be shut down. ____Please advise.

I just found out that he is using Windows95. I sure, at least I hope, that the problem is due to the version of Windows. I told him to upgrade to 98 second addition and see if that resolves the problem.____What do you think?

__Kathleen, This is exactly the problem I described to you in our conversation today regarding upgrading from Win95 to NT.____When we run through the dbase program to write out a series of PDF files, we get this error as well. I use the rrwrunin with a dbase file and use dbase to fill in the parameters. I thought it was a timing problem in the oening and closing of the PDF driver and put in a series of "pauses" between file creation. You can get this error if you do not have all of the required files for a particular operating system or if you do not have sufficient system rights to install a printer.____We have added a link on http://www.livewarepub.com/download.htm__to download a PDFDIST.ZIP file that contains all of the PDF files for each O/S.____I also just found that we did make a PDF fix in RRWRUN.EXE that was done after the 9.0.009 update. So if you want to try this later file version, send me an email and I will send it out to you.____Kathleen__R&R Support
