Export causing R&R to crash

Hello, I^ve got a really strange problem. I have a series of price list reports that crash when trying to export them. As soon as I click the radio button for the export type (it happens on all of the export types) R&R crashes. It either gives the "R&R Report Designer, Xbase Edition has encountered a problem and needs to close" message, or it doesn^t give a message at all and the program just goes away.____As far as I know, these price list reports are the only ones in the collection that have a problem. Interestingly, I^ve noticed that the reports that work ok have an export type pre-selected (multi band -> text) and you can type in the file name field. On the reports that do not work, none of the radio buttons have anything selected and the file name box is grayed-out. Again, as soon as I click one of the export types, R&R crashes.____I^m using R&R 11.0.006, but the templates were designed with R&R 8.1. I^ve tried re-saving them with 11, but that didn^t help. The reports that do work ok were also designed with R&R 8.1, so I don^t think that^s the problem. I also tried starting the export from their RRS files with the same result.____Thanks!____Mike N.__Pushing R&R 11 to its limits. :)

Thanks for sending the report. Here is what is going wrong.__The last time that this report was exported pre-V11 the selected export format was to an Excel Chart. R&R remembers saved export formats.__In V11 we re-did the export dialog to make it tabbed and also moved the OLE export options of chart and pivot table to a different dialog. When V11 opens a report whose last export pre-V11 was a chart or pivot table, it gets confused. When it displays the Export dialog, all of the choices are empty and the Options tab is missing. So when you try to make a selection, it gets confused and crashes.____We will fix this one but the current workaround is to open the report in a pre-V11 release, reset the chart/pivot table export and then export to a different format such as text. Then save the report. When you open it in V11 you will be able to export without a problem.____Kathleen__R&R Support__
