Export to CSV hangs PC

I^ve just upgraded to a new AMD Athlon 2.5Ghz PC and have since found that one tried and trusted R&R Report won^t work anymore. It creates a mailing export file and runs fine in Print Preview mode but as soon as I try to export the data file, it hangs my PC in the same place every time (box pops up showing Records Read 40, Records Exported 0) and the only way out is to power it off completely. I^ve tried the same report on another PC of the same spec which has been set up from scratch (ie the hard drive was completely new and unformatted to start with) and the result is exactly the same. But the identical report on my old machine (1.8Ghz) works perfectly.

Yes it works on Text and also on DBase. Odd! I guess I can use that as a work around and create the CSV file from FoxPro but it would be nice to know why it^s suddenly stopped working.
