I have two Windows XP machines that error out when printing reports. Does anyone know of a patch/fix for these XP machines?____

Which version of R&R? Is the user allowed to interactively select a printer at runtime?____Kathleen__R&R Support

we are using v10.0____The staff has tried using the properties of the printer dialog box and it still fails. As the other person mentioned, not on all reports. Also, it fails occassionally to either the "Screen" or "Printer".____Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have the same problem. We are running v8.0 and users are allowed to select a report. Seems to work for some reports but not others.

The workaround is to use the Properties button from the print dialog prior to actually printing.____Kathleen__R&R Support

I^ve been working with Ruth troubleshooting the problem. The R&R is runtime version 10.0.120. The login has admin rights. XP with Service Pack 2. Confirmed paths and rights were correct.__One report works, one report fails. I removed all fonts except Arial 8. I removed all underlines and replaced them with lines. I removed all UDF calls. I changed Tray1 to Auto in Page Setup. The report that works is landscape. The report that fails is portrait; very similar reports otherwise and called from same program and in the same way. There are more reports than this that fail; but more that work than fail. We^ve tested with antivirus disabled. No other apps open. Enough ram and disk space. One XP computer prints to SAVIN Model 2245 scanner/printer but still errors when printing to a different printer. The error log points to WINSPOOL.DRV. We have approximately 60 other users of the program and runtime without problems.

Well, I may be answering my own troubleshooting here. I notice when searching for R&R Winspool in Google I find notes in a .txt file on a 10.1.013 service pack that may resolve this issue. Now...if I can find that patch link.
