Fatal Error 9 bug

Hi Kathleen - are there any plans to fix the Fatal Error 9 bug? We typically get this when the report thinks a ParameteRR field^s length is too short (even when it isn^t). To fix it, we have to open the ParameteRR field, change the length to a couple of characters longer and save the report. We are currently using R&R Version 12, build 12.0.002. Thanks!

That problem should only occur for reports created before 12.0.002.__If you create the parameterr in the latest release, it should be ok. Please let me know if you find this not to be the case and we will investigate.____Kathleen__R&R Support

The report in question was created before version 12.0.002, but it has been edited and saved several times using 12.0.002, and the parameter causing the Fatal 9 error was created using 12.0.002. We have a lot of reports created using past versions of R&R though they are all being updated with 12.0.002 now that we have that version. Is this bug going to be with us forever unless we recreate (starting from scratch using 12.0.002) all the reports getting Fatal 9 errors? ____Thanks for your help,____Audrey Kauffman__BETA Healthcare Group

Hum. You should just need to re-create the parameteRR field and not the entire report. Can you email one of the problem reports to me at livesupport@livewarepub.com so I can have a look?____Kathleen__R&R Support
