Fields do not show up on join ODBC

I am trying to modify an existing report. All I want to do is join to a file on our AS400/Iseries like I did all the time in the past.____I am on R&R version 9.0 build 9.0.009, using ODBC driver RUMBA AS/400 Optimized Server(32 bit).__ __When I try to add a join, on the second file I can only see the field name of the first field in the file. The rest of the fields show up as col2, col3, col4 ect. which are not the actual field names.__I have tried joining to both physical and logical files.____What is going on? __Can you help me?

If you do a new report on the table you are trying to join does R&R also show the field names in the same COL1, COL2, COL3, COL4 format?____Kathleen__R&R Support

If I do a new report the fields show up as the field names they actually are JSARCO, JSNANO, JSCUNO ect.____I had asked my co-worker about this issue and he showed me a way around it: I added another ODBC driver available through Rumba __called RUMBA DRDA-32. This driver allows me to see the field names on__a join. __My guess is something changed on the AS400(which is maintained by our corporate office) which prevented my original driver from acting the__way it used to.____So anyhow..problem resolved. Thank you for your quick response to my post!
