Filtering Fields & Control Boxes

I have a report in which I need to change the date ranges several times each month to run "the next report". ____Is there an easier, control style feature (toggle, combo, list-box, spinner, etc) that I could place into my report in design mode to facilitate the new date ranges for each report? Do I have an option or do I have to use the filter feature each time.
