Daar Friends,____ A very complex problem, but stripped down, here it is:____ Why does a HP2100M Laser Jet complain about ^no paper^ in the tray when in fact, the *real* problem is the report (on RRW 9.0) I sent to the printer uses the ^New Courier^ font ??____ Also, why does this *same* printer gladly accept a Courier font *if* the report is created under R&R for DOS Verasion 6.0a.____ (I^ve been ^climbing walls^ all day about this ! To get the this check-writing report I finally had to re-design it with an Arial Font :((( )____Thanks for any hints so I can get the Courier Font to work on this report.______-Mel Smith____

Printing from windows is totally different from printing from DOS.____If you select that printer in the Windows Report Designer, it should allow you to select any font that is available to that driver and apply those fonts in the report.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Then, when sending this modified report(new courier)to the printer, the printer ^hiccuped^ and said (ultimately) ^Please check your paper ....out of paper^____ Strange !!____But thanks for your response !____-Mel Smith__

They will __>show in the font menu with a printer icon in front of them. ____Kathleen,____ I^ll check on my user^s machine on Monday, and see what it shows for fonts.____ In my old DOS R&R setup, the printer selected was an HP Laser IID (wow that^s old !) , but the report worked perfectly when sent to the HP2100M.____ This report really prints cheques, and now that I^ve changed/re-designed it for Arial, the client is now (reasonably)happy.
