1mil recs read with 2mil recs db

I need to optimize a report that is connected to a database with 2 million records. We are using scope values, and they are dates, and the user wants a summary of all records for 1 yea, which means I have to process/read 1 million records.____We have ADS installed on the Server and was wondering if I can use R&R v10 with ADS to get better results? The database format is dbf/cdx.____Please help!__Sergio
