Join error

I have 2 different reports (Ver 8.1 SQL) that hit the exact same database. They have the exact same join, and there is only one join. However, in one report, I can check "include unmatched records on left" and the report works, and in the other report, I get a database error. Why would this happen? Both of the reports are essentially the same with different levels of grouping.____thanks__Fred Emmerich

Try comparing the SELECT statements (Use Database->View SQL) in the two reports and see where they are different.______Kathleen__R&R Support
