Lining up columns, decimals

Post by TomSoCal » Sat Sep 28, 2002 7:07 pm

I^m new to V9 of R&R for Windows, I^m converting a bunch of DOS *.rp1 library files to the newer RRW.____One issue I seem to have a problem with - many of the total fields in my footers seem to change alignment with the body fields above them? It "looks" like the decimal points are all lined up. All in all it seems very hard to visualize how they will line up, it looks one way on the layout screen, sometimes another in the Print Preview, and often different when a hard copy is printed out.____Am I imagining this? Causing it! LOL! Is it due to mainly converting old DOS based fields/reports over to Windows?____Tom

I would enable snap to grid, right alight the fields and select print at field position. If the are aligned on the layout, they should also be aligned in preview and in hard copy.____Kathleen__R&R Support
