Linking Reports via control table

Have written a control table (dbf format) containing report names in Alpha so I can run R&R reports from my database application.____The reports are designed using v8.1 of the R&R software.____However I cannot create an RP5 library file for the RI_LIBRARY column in my control table so the reports do not run. Help files tell me RP5 files are no longer supported.____So how do I connect reports to a database application?____Sorry but I am beginner at this!__

You cannot save reports directly to RP5 format but you can run reports that are in RP5 files using runtime.__You set RI_LIBRARY to the path/filename of the RP5 file and RI_REPORT to the name of the report within the library.____Kathleen__R&R Support
