Greeting and thanks in advance for any help.__I am wondering how to make the header only appear on the first page.__This is a report that some times flows over to a second page and the report header is the address part for a mailing, so obviously I do not want this part to duplicate.__Is there a way to make the header not repeat?__Thanks __Shayne__

A title band line will print just once at the beginning of the report.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hi Kathleen,____>> A title band line will print just once at the beginning of the report. <<____It would be NICE if the TITLE band could be set to GROUP TITLE...____Short of this, a TITLE report that might otherwise print a range of MULTI-PAGE, let^s say, invoices, currently, may only RUN multi-page one-group/invoice-at-a-time.____Or am I missing something?____This small nit, which can be worked around, should not, however, delay, in any way, your fiduciary responsibility, as a DATABASE reporting tool vendor, to deliver Advantage support yesterday. <g>____Derek__

You can also set up a swapped group header. For this you set an equal number of group header and page header band lines and check the swap header box in the group field.____R&R then will print the group header on page 1 of each group and each subsequent page will have the page header in place of the group header.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hi Kathleen,____>> For this you set an equal number of group header and page header band lines and check the swap header box in the group field. <<____Can we logically supress blank lines in the page header or does that defeat the purpose of keeping them equal? Please say yes. <g>____It^s a sorry invoice that begins page two line items on the middle of the page... <sigh>____TIA, <g>____Derek____

You can suppress them but unless the page and group header occupies the same amount of space, your report is not going to work properly...______Kathleen__R&R Support
