Non-ansi standard outer join

Post by Stuart » Fri Dec 01, 2006 12:15 pm

We are using R&R 12.0.001 against a SQL Server 2005 database. We cannot use outer joins in the reports because the SQL generated by R&R contains *=, which gets rejected by SQL Server.__We don^t want drop the compatability level of the database, particularly given that the backwards compatability will be remove din future anyway.____Help, anyone?

We are aware of this problem and will be updating our SQL support to change the way outer joins are done some time in the new year.____Kathleen__R&R Support

No firm date that I could commit to at this time. But we do take it as a significant issue to be addressed.____Kathleen__R&R Support
