ODBC Problem R&Rv10

I have installed R&Rv10 and am trying to verify install.____I am running against MySQL on Redhat 9.0 as a test server.____When I use Instant report or Wizard, database fields are retrieved__to report definition. However when I try to run Preview, no data can be retreived. Thousands of records seem to be read, even though table only has 149!____Sql looks ok, I use datasource for other apps ok, R&R database table is ok, but limit does not apply and view result just runs amok!____I cant find any trouble shooting guide in the Doc, any help appreciated.____Fred Wohlfert__DBA__Edward R Hamilton, Bookseller

Can you create an auto-SQL report where you write the SELECT statement and have return records?____As a side issue, I know that DataDirect (whose drivers we re-distribute with R&R) have a MySQL driver in the works.____Although R&R should work with any ODBC driver, some of the code that we use to access ODBC is actually quite old and may not correctly behave with all drivers.____Regards,__Kathleen__R&R Support____
