Output to HTML forces spacing

Post by theflash » Thu Mar 07, 2002 5:20 pm

Kathleen, ____Do you have any tips for better spacing when outputting to HTML. It seems that everytime I write a report, when it outputted to HTML it starts almost 1.5 inches down the page instead of at the top. I have noticed that this also happens sometimes between the band lines (tilte, header, record, etc.). Is there some way to controll the spacing between the band lines on HTML output ? I have tried adjusting the hieght (automatic or freedom; inches or points) in the properties for the band line and that doesn^t help. I have also tried editing the "Page Setup" under the FILE menu in Report Designer and that does absolutely nothing.____Do you have any ideas? Using R&R v. 9.0____Thanks, ____Michael McKenzie__mmckenzie@theknot.com

What I have done in the past is to add explicit HTML tags to the report (either as text on layout or as calculated fields) and then output the report to text file format but with an HTML extension.__That way you have full control of final document.____Kathleen__R&R Support
