PDF Cropped pasted objects

Using version 9.0 for several years. After adding a new page line and pasting an opject from an Excel sheet the top edge of the object is chopped off. Have tried a variety of objects from picture metafiles to excell tables. The problem shows itself when printing and making a PDF. The preview looks fine. Is this an old bug or memory problem. What is the solution? This problem does not occur on page one. Help!
