Kathleen,____I have tried export reports using runtime under the Windows Millenium Editon. I^m using a control file. When I export on Windows 98, NT, 2000 and XP it works great, but not on ME. On the PDFDIST.TXT file there are a list of necessary files to export on each OS but not lists the files to Windows ME. Can you help me???____Windows 3.1__ACFPDF16.DRV__PDFITF16.DLL ____Windows 95/98__ACFPDF.DRV__PDFINTF.DLL __CDINTF.DLL____Windows NT/XP/2000__ACFPDF.DLL__ACFPDFUI.DLL__PDFMON.DLL__PDFINTF.DLL__ACFPDF.TXT__CDINTF.DLL____Where^s Windows ME???____Thanks__Fabiano Machado__Brazil.

ME has the same file requirements as 95/98.__I did a quick test to verify and was able to successfully create a PDF file on ME using both the Report Designer and runtime with these files present in the R&R directory.____Kathleen__R&R Support

See if the following file is on a Win97 Machine that has the full version. ACPDF157.drv On Windows 2000 machines it^s a dll. Try copying it over to the ME machine in the runtime area and see what happens.____On Win98 machines, this file has solved all my PDF problems in the Runtime. It is installed on Win98 machines with the full version of R&R but is not listed as required on Runtime Machines. However, since copying this file to the runtime area, all my PDF errors have gone.

Just someone trying to help. I have tried to tell R&R several times this file is needed but they continually reply that it is not.____Glad it helped.____

Well if you hit me enough I do actually learn sometimes.__I just rechecked and sure enough acpdf157.drv is in the windowssystem directory on both my Win98 and my WindowsME machine.____I will update the documentation accordingly.____Kathleen__R&R Support

As I said in my previous attempts, it is loaded only in the full install, so I am guessing almost all your test systems have had a full install at one time. It is not removed if you do an uninstall so even if you had uninstalled it you still would have worked.____Try deleting that file and you will see what we were talking about. It still creates a pdf, but the pdf is unreadable.____I am glad you took the time to monitor the conference and keep testing even when you thought it would not help. This shows that your company is really trying to overcome problems.____Thanks,____John__

What is interesting is that the file is NOT actually part of the product installation. Instead it gets created the first time that the PDF driver is used by the designer. So I am going to do some more research on what actually is happening.____Kathleen__R&R Support
