Hello all:____ I^m helping a client setup printing in Cougar Mountain accounting software. Cougar uses R&R v10 for its invoices etc. We^re having a major problem when printing to impact printers using a custom paper size (half sheets) 8 x 7. When we save the report on one PC, that one works fine, but the others don^t. When we open the R&R form on a PC that^s not printing correctly, the paper size is set back to Letter - but it^s the same file that we set from the first PC. I set it back to our customer form and now this PC works, but the first PC is now broken. ____ I^ve heard this is a bug in R&R, but I^m wondering if there is any kind of work around at all??? We cannot put a copy of the form on each PC because Cougar Mountain is programmed to look in a specific directory on the server for the forms. Is there a pre-released patch that we could help test?? ____ Is there anything on the printer that we could setup? (We use Okidata ML 520 dot matrix printers.) I thought the default settings may get around this, but it still all goes back to Letter page type. Any help would be appreciated.____Thanks,__Jon

This is indeed an R&R bug that occurs on XP machines.____A fix is not currently in place.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Thanks for replying Kathleen. Maybe if there are lots of these messages, they will raise the priority of this defect or create a hot fix for it. Our only other solution is to have custom programming done for Cougar Mountain for each module where we want to print short forms. Please spread the word that this needs to get fixed.____Thanks again,__Have a great day,__Jon
