Performance Problem

We have a client running R&R v9 and if they run a report with an installation of Report Writer on, it grinds to a halt (takes about 15 minutes to run). If they then uninstall Report Writer and run the report again, it runs in under a minute.____Any ideas would be appreciated.____Thanks,____Mike.

The most typical thing that causes slowness is the search for the printer saved with the report but that would be just the same whether a full copy of R&R was on the machine or not. The other thing that might be a factor though is any changes to the RRW.INI that might be made by the full install. So you might look at that.____Kathleen__R&R Support
