Printer Port Failure

I recently installed Version 9.0 for xbase and discovered that my printer port (LPT1) locked up and would not print anything, even after I exited R&R. Everything worked again after I rebooted. I then tried version 8.1 and my reports all printed. I then ran the same report in 9.0 and my printer port again locked up. As long as I don^t use 9.0 my printer is okay. I am running the product on my local drive, but connected to a Novell network. Any suggestions?__
