The printer name and location are saved with the report.__In V10 (but not in V9) you can add an INI setting to tell R&R to ignore the saved printer and use an alternate one instead.____Kathleen__R&R Support

We default our reports to the default Windows Printer. This sounds similar - that you are hardcoding a printer.____Is there any way within the runtime to enable the user to select a printer, instead of always defaulting to the Windows Default or using and ini file?

You would have to use a control table and set RI_WPTR=? to default to always prompting.____Kathleen__R&R Support

When I set ri_printer to "?" and ri_wptr to "?", I^m successfully prompted twice, and if I choose Printer for Report Destination and then choose the network printer of my choice, I consistently get the error message: "Cannot match printer or port in control file."
