Printer won^t set landscape

I have a customer using my software using HP 8550 Color LaserJet. When they try to print a landscape report the printer does not respond by switching to landscape mode. They have to exit the program, set printer properties to landscape and print the report. Isn^t the r&r software suppose to send landscape commands at time of report printer to switch the portait/landscape automatically? It seems to work on other printers.____Thanks__Dan

Is this using runtime or the report designer?__If the designer, are they using File Page Setup and selecting landscape?____Kathleen__R&R Support

They are using the runtime(R&R SQL edition Version 9) running on Windows 2000. They get a dialog to select the printer. They use default printer. They set the properties to landscape, but it does not print to landscape, even tho the report is designed in landscape. If they exit out of software. Go to print setup and set to landscape, they can print to landscape. It appears that R&R runtime is not setting the printer to landscape upon printing. I am using R&R SQL edition Version 9. Any ideas to make print select landscape mode.?____Dan
