Advice on multiple joins

Post by Ruth_Wareing » Wed Apr 04, 2007 2:16 pm

I^m new to this forum, to R&R and to report writing so I need to find learning resources.____Can anyone recommend a good site or book for learning how to design queries/report definitions that link three or more tables without causing duplicates in the result set? I guess I^m looking for the equivalent of a deduplicate button!____Any helpful suggestions gratefully received.__Kind regards,__Ruth

One technique to control duplication is to add sort/grouping to your report and then put your information on a group footer so that it prints only once per change in group.____Kathleen__R&R Support
