Problem with RRWRUN (v 10+) in W2K

I am trying to run the runtime (rrwrun.exe) from an application I am developing in CA-Visual Objects (Ver 6). The report runs in the designer with no problems. The report can run from a desktop icon with no problems. The report can be run from my application in Windows XP with no problems. When I run my application in Windows 2000, the report does no display. I am using the Windows WinExec function in my application to run rrwrun.exe. Any ideas why this may be happening?

Can you run RRWRUN.EXE outside of your application on the problem machine?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Thanks for responding.____I can run the report from a shortcut on the W2K machine with no problems. In the shortcut, I use the same control table as when I try to run the report in the application. Here is some additional information that may be helpful.... This problem started after I upgraded to version 10 . The report was working from within the application using version 6.5. All tables are xBase tables. I get a return code of 33 from WinExec(which indicates the program ran OK). I get no error message from RRWRUN.EXE. RRUNOUT.DBF indicates report displayed. I am trying to display the report, not print it.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jun-03-03 AT 07:19 AM (EST)]If you print rather than display does the same thing occur? Is the problem only with a single report?______Kathleen__R&R Support
