Problems Using Send Via MAPI

I am having difficulty in using the ^Send Via MAPI^ option with ^Export^. When attempting to export and send a txt file, the report counts though the records, overwrites the txt file but then fails with an MS Outlook error :____"No profiles have been created. To create a new profile use the Mail icon in Control Panel".____Having checked, my ^Outlook^ profile is visible through Mail in Control Panel.____Just wondered if anyone had encountered similiar. Thanks for any feedback.____Paul

Version 10+ by the way on XP.
