Query Changes

We have Report Writer Ver. 8.1 Xbase Edition. We have saved reports with queries that we are trying to change. For example, one has a date range. I am trying to change it from 11/19-11/23 to 11/26-11/28 to track sales. But when it comes up, the dates range from 1/1/01 to 11/28/01! Then when I try to save it as an Excel file, it only pulls up the first 16,000 lines, just like it is doing with some other reports. PLEASE, PLEASE help! We have some suits who are hot and heavy for some of this information that we have been able to provide in the past fairly quickly from Report Writer. Now, they wonder what the heck we^re doing! ____Thanks!____Elaine

Is your setting for ending scope under database master set to end of file? Or maybe page number is limited in print. I spent a lot a time looking for these simple things. I hope it helps you. good luck.__

When exporting to Worksheet format (wks), I have found that I need to be sure the Format for dates in R&R is set to "MM/DD/YYYY" (as opposed to Regional Long, for example). __Also, there are limits for number of records that can be imported into Excel (depending on the version). If you get exactly the same number of records in your Excel file from different date ranges, then that may be an indication of the limit.
