R&R 9.0 OCX and Delphi

We have upgraded to version 9.0 and we tried to use the OCX component, wich is easier to use. When we try to set the reportName property of the control, I receive the message "Invalid Floating Point Operation". We discover that only reports saved with a date type master index causes this problem. __Still with the OCX, there are some reports that we try to open with the component and receive the message "No properties pages are available for this control". __Using rrwrun with dbf control file everything works fine.__We use Delphi 4.0, Windows 98, R&R 9.0.005, dbf and cdx tables.__Does someone have any information about those errors?____Best regards,__Marcelo Alaggio__Delphus Informatica Ltda__Brazil__

I just tried this using RRW9, Win98 but VB6 as my development environment and was able to successfully run a report with a date master CDX index.__Do you get the error at design or at runtime?____Kathleen__R&R Support

I receive the error within Delphi design environment. __Even if I try to set the reportName property at runtime, the same error occurs.__Can you try this using Delphi 4 ou higher?__I hope you help me to find out what is happening.__Best regards,__Marcelo Alaggio.__Delphus Informatica.

We do have a copy of Delphi in house so I will try it there (though probably not until tomorrow.)____Kathleen__R&R Support

I just tried using Delphi5.__Report with master date index did indeed crash here as well.____We will attempt to fix this at some point in the future but other bugs are well ahead of this one in the to be fixed queue.__So the workaround would be to call runtime directly.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen,____We understand that there are other bugs to be fixed, but this one is important to us. When we made contacts to buy R&R we asked about the compatibility between the OCX component and Delphi, since we have had the same problem with version 7.0. I cant remember the name, but someone at Livewarepub has said that it would work well.
