R&R 9.0 through terminal server

Post by Dave_Cleghorn » Mon Jan 07, 2002 11:35 am

Happy New Year Liveware!____OK. I dont think there will be any problems here but could you confirm please...____One of our clients is about to upgrade R&R from version 8.0 XBASE to version 9.0 XBASE on Terminal Server. They had no issues with running 8.0 through terminal services. Are there any issues with 9.0 I should make them aware of?____Thanks v. much for your help again.____Kind Regards,__Dave Cleghorn.

No issues specific to terminal server that I can think of.__If they are ok in 8, they will be even better in 9.____Kathleen__R&R Support

I tested ver8 on Citrix Server (NT4) and had some serious speed issues. We were told by Liveware that R&R was not certified for Citrix or Terminal Server and there wasn^t much they could do for us. Has this changed?

We have tested R&R on Terminal Server and have several users who use the runtime on Terminal Server with no problems or speed issues.____Pat__

Interesting. I have had no response from the client so suspect they have not encountered any problems so far.
