R&R Infinity Now Includes Rattle?

Post by Richard_Ward_(Guest) » Thu Jul 27, 2006 6:54 am

Hi Kathleen,__Can you please confirm the terms of use for the ASP functionality now included with R&R Infinity.____Does it have the same licence agreement as the former Rattle (IE 1 install on the server allows unlimted users to access reports via the ASP interface.)____We could do with an answer on this ASAP as new clients are wating to use the Web interface to run reports.____Regards,__Richard Ward__Warwick International Computing Systems

The terms of use for the bundled ASP component are that it be used only on internal web servers and not on publically available HTTP sites. For that kind of report distribution, you would need to purchase and use RattleRR.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hi Kathleen,__So just to clarify, if we use the new ASP component on a web server that is only accessible by Employees of the company this is acceptable.____We are using the term public the same as anonymous. The users of the site will be defined within the application and only employees of the company will be able to access the reports on the site.____Regards,__Richard Ward__Warwick International Computing Systems
