We have been using R&R for years. We recently upgraded from version 9 to version 10. Ever since the upgrade, our PCs (running Windows 98 with 256 or 512 RAM on a Novell server) have been experiencing frequent general protection fault errors, out of memory errors, and invalid page fault errors. It appears that version 10 is not adequately releasing memory, resulting in a critical shortage of system resources. We are having to reboot our computers multiple times daily and unlock R&R licenses caused by these frequent program freezes. Is a patch anticipated soon or should we revert to version 9? If we have no choice but to revert to version 9, will reports created or saved in version 10 work without problems in version 9?__ __Interestingly, our remote employees who access R&R via CITRIX Metaframe are not experiencing these problems. Both CITRIX and regular PC users are logging into a Novell network. The only difference is that the CITRIX users do so via a CITRIX Metaframe server running NT 4.0 whereas our local users do so via PCs running Windows 98.__

A 10.0.012 build is just on the horizon and might help.__A V10 saved report will give a warning message when opened in the V9 designer but can still be used and V9 runtime can run V10 saved reports. Obviously any V10 specific features would not be accessible when brought back to V9.______Kathleen__R&R Support
