I^m running R&R SQL v9 (with the latest patch) under W2K and am trying, with no success, to access Excell 2002 files without saving them first as dbf files. When installing R&R I selected excell drivers. As data source I select excell files but and select the directory but the end result is that R&R reports that "no table nameswere found for this data source". I don^t have a problem connecting to dbf files.____I have searched through the help screens and the pdf manuals that came with the program but am none the wiser.

Do you have multiple excel files in the selected directory? If so try copying the one you wish to use to a different directory and see if that helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support

That seemed to do the trick, thanks. Having been a R&R user and enthusiust since version 1 this has been my first attempt to work with excell files. What I also didn^t pickup on was that R&R was referenceing the workbook name, not the file name.
