R&R v8

Post by Don_N._(Guest) » Wed Oct 23, 2002 4:24 pm

Maybe I^ve not looked at the right place, or could be outdated, or both, but I have not found anything about the availability of R&R v8. The reason is, I was told that it is the first Y2K compliant version of R&R. If it is true, then it is all I need. I have several old CLipper apps that use R&R runtime module (v6.5) and it interprets any "10/23/02" parameter passed in from Clipper apps as "October 23, 1902". Does anyone know how to cure this problem (we lost all Clipper source codes so this is not an option). If R&R v8 indeed can solve this, then does anyone know if it^s available for download anywhere ??____Desperately need help and thank you very much !!!____-dn.

You could contact our sales department at 800-936-6202 to see if there is any inventory available for Version 8.____Kathleen__R&R Support

How is the data based from Clipper? Probably with a dbf.__You could create a udf that takes the date passed in and converts it according to a pivot year. ____realdate()__ctod(substr(dtoc(inputdate),1,6)+iif(year(inputdate)<=1915,year(inputdate)+100,year(inputdate)))____
