Is the file CDINTF.DLL present on the machine that has the problem?____In the application that calls R&R do you allow the user to interactively select a printer at runtime?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen,____Why do we have to use ri_wptr and ri_printer to get around the "rrwrun.exe has generated errors". ____We have employed this workaround you suggested with good success.__Our old values__ri_wptr = DEFULT ri_printer = D____Our current values __ri_wptr = <printer name> ri_printer = P____We have clients who are asking why some of their pc^s are having this problem and some are not. We have confirmed that these pcs all have the CDINTF.DLL and all are having this problem when R&R tries to allow them to select a printer at runtime. Plus using this workaround eliminates some features (print to screen) which is very nice and well used by our clients.____When can we expect a fix to this error which will eliminate the need for this workaround.____Jeff Hunt__

Kathleen,____Your answer is perfect, thank you so much.____To confirm:____We the developer need to upgrade to 10+ (and the most up to date service releases) and then distribute the runtime files to our clients.____The reports, written in 9.0, do not need to be adjusted.____The new runtime files handles the printer selection issue by themselves.____Are these statements correct?

You can try pressing the properties button in the print dialog prior to actually printing and see if that helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support
