Kathleen,__good morning!____We use version 9 and we are interested in making an upgrade to version 11.____But I would like to ask you some question about it, ok?____1. This version (11) has both DBF and SQL access, correct?____2. When using SQL access, wich databases can I access? I am planning to use open source databases, like Firebird, mySQL or PostGre.__Can I use them with RR?____3. In version 9 we use the rrwrun to generate the reports, calling it from within our Delphi applications. The OCX component available in version 9 does not work correctly in Delphi forms. In version 11, wich are the ways of calling a report from within an application?____4. In version 9 we have problems when exporting to Excel, since only one kind of line can be exported. With this limitation, some reports with record lines and total dont export correctly to Excell. __Is this fixed? ____5. In version 9 we use to have problems when exporting to PDF. In version 11 is this fixed?____6. In version 9 and using WindowsXP some times we get an error message saying "RR must be closed". Is this ok in version 11?____7. There was recently some discussion here on using R&R with Firebird so you might want to search for the thread.____>3. Sometimes PDF issues are due to permission settings in the O/S.____>6. In version 9 and using WindowsXP some times we get an __>error message saying "RR must be closed". If you are seeing the issue on exiting the program then disabling the PDF printer driver should correct things in V9.____>7. Can I read every report designed in version 9 using __>version 11? __ Yes.
